Two players the Ravens should re-sign
Jimmy Smith and Gus Edwards. Both are FAs after this season.
Jimmy provides much needed depth in the secondary and can play in the slot or outside. I know the Ravens just gave him a one year deal before the season but I think it would be a smart move to give him another year or two.
Gus Edwards has been one of the most underrated players on the team since he bursted onto the scene two years ago. With Mark Ingram likely gone after this season, the Ravens should keep Gus around. Him and JK compliment each other well.90% of the game is half mental

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
Gus is a RFA so that's easy.
Jimmy Smith I believe could sign 1 yr deals with the Ravens till he retires. He's pretty attached here. I would certainly keep him around.

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
The list of FAs is extensive.
ERFA
Terrell Bonds
Trystan Colon-Castillo
Khalil Dorsey
Jake Rodgers
Geno Stone - since he was waived
Kristian Welch
Antoine Wesley
Eli Wolf
RFA
Chris Board
Gus Edwards - would consider 2nd round tender
Davontae Harris - somehow
Priority resigns
Jimmy Smith - another 1 yr deal if he still wants to play
Willie Snead - still only 28; 3 yr deal
Right Player / Right Price
Tyus Bowser*
Matthew Judon*
Pernell McPhee
Yannick Ngakoue
Jihad Ward
Derek Wolfe
* the Ravens must sign either Bowser or Judon to play SAM - they probably won't afford both
Thanks - here's some parting gifts
Morgan Cox (retiring)
Justin Ellis
DJ Fluker
Robert Griffin III
Anthony Levine
Chris Moore
Jordan Richards
Matt Skura
DeAndrew White

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
I agree with the opening thread. The Salary Cap situation is going to get tight real quick. This might be heresy but I personally would think twice before giving Lamar big money.

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
SNEAD, WILLIE SNEAD IV (the only reliable, young-ish WR they have under 30)
SMITH, JIMMY (most steady CB on the team, versatile, elder statesman)
BOZEMAN, BRADLEY (extend him now instead of waiting, he's a calm presence for this OL, don't wait for his contract to expire)
NGAKOUE, YANNICK (Ravens have give him up a lot already to have him, gotta re-sign him or they're back at square 1 on pass rush, assuming Judon leaves)

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
Good analysis. I agree with almost every word, except I'd probably move Derek Wolfe into the priority resign group - he's been good, he won't cost much, the Ravens look very thin on the D line and the rookies have been really unimpressive.
I had to google DeAndrew Shite (White) as I've never even heard his name before. What's he done to earn the name change?

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
I'd resign Edwards even if they aren't planning to cut ties with Ingram.
With Jimmy, RPRP (right player, right price). While it's true one can't have too many good players in the secondary, one can spend too much on the secondary. With Humphreys and Peters signed, Smith might be a luxury they can't afford.

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
It's a lot of junk, all of it disposable and take it or leave it offer depth chart fillers. We should be talking imports. What young DLs and LBs are hitting the market?
Don't get caught up in guys like Snead which look good cuz we're comparing them with junk. I do like the two the OP said but let them test the market. We win anyway if somebody else overpays...Bart Scott set the Jetz back... but I don't think there's interest in either one. You can always find a backup back on either side. It's what's in front of them, as I keep pontificating.
It's also nice that Lamar, and the NFL defenses, both showed their hands on the rook deal.

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
I like Snead and he's the most reliable WR on the squad right now, but I don't see the point in resigning him if he's not going to get the ball very often. They can teach a younger, cheaper WR to block.

Re: Two players the Ravens should re-sign
Bring back Jimmy and Snead. Snead is a Harbaugh favorite.
Bowser should be back. I'd like to see them bring back Wolfe who has played well. Mcphee if he comes back cheap. I think Judon is gone and Yannick may get the tag. Ward gone. Skura will likely be back as well as staff seems to like him."When you go into the lions den, you don't tippy-toe in. You carry a spear. You go in screaming like a banshee and say, 'Where's the son of a bitch?""
