The Browns game could go either way. It seems like the kind of game that might depend on who is out because of covid. With all the dline out for the Ravens, the Browns would be able to run easily if they have the oline and Chubb and Hunt healthy. If the dline is all back, it's a different story.

True. It might be an ultra shit show. But that would be interesting. And this was a game that most expect the Ravens to lose. So, they lose with a bare roster or they lose with a full roster, or at least with Lamar. The Ravens are still on track, they have to beat Cowboys, Giants, Jaguars, Bengals. And they should. 10 wins. Browns, 10 or 11 wins. Maybe 10 wins gets the playoffs, maybe not. 11 wins almost certainly does.

A total of 18 new covids this week, total 20.

It's possible there could be a win. Any Given Sunday.

The Ravens will have to innovate on defense in order to win. But that's time consuming and difficult. In a week, they might not need those innovations.

It looks to me that best case scenario you have linebackers playing defensive tackle.

Only Derek Wolfe and Jelly Ellis are available from the middle 3, DTs and DEs. And the bigger linebackers, McPhee and Ferguson are out. The normal defense might have 3 300+ pounders in the middle, Campbell, Williams, Wolfe. And backups for all of them, so that they're only playing about half the snaps. Does one really want Jelly Ellis playing 100% of the snaps? You might see Wolfe and Ellis there on run downs, with Judon playing DE, Yannick and Bowser at OLB. On pass downs, keep Wolfe in (he'll be tired, he'll get a lot of snaps), bump Judon in, Yannick and Bowser. Put a lot of dbs and lbs in there. Or don't rush. Bigger lbs are moved in toward DT on run downs, maybe on pass downs, there is no or little rush, a 1 or 2 containment, and 9 dbs/lbs/coverage.

You have to have some solution to no Dline, no DTs, no DEs (except the 2).

The Broncos have NO QBs. All 4 QBs out.

To me, this actually could mean some interesting football. When teams are forced to innovate, you might get some interesting football, and it gives me a reason to look at websites about other teams.
I'm with you that necessity is the mother of invention but I don't see this game as able to be played. Not only is nearly the entire D line out but there are only 5 O-line able to play. So there are zero backups that could be taken from d-line in emergency and with the crazy number of players out and backups playing that's just a ripe situation for injuries of all types. We're even down to the PS long snapper. It's just not feasible.

Next Monday for Dallas you may get your wish for creativity.

You are welcome. At the end of the day, it's entertainment :) I honestly hope all NFL players recover from Covid. This year has put a LOT of things in my life in perspective. Grateful to even have a Ravens-Browns-Steelers rivalry right now to talk about, vs. NO football.

What do you see for the Browns the rest of the way (assuming no covid issues)?

What do you think will become of Baker?
