Tyre Phillips is off the IR List

Do they kick him out to RT? Fluker got benched at one point against the Titans.

Fluker was benched against the Patriots too.

I'm intrigued by Phillips at right tackle

Fluker is like playing an amorphous blob at RT try anyone else.

He has potential to play OT.

The issue now is that he was changing his technique, specifically his kick and post steps in pass pro to be a guard. Now he’ll have to revert and it’s going to be tough.

What a dumb decision by the staff. The man played tackle and is built like a tackle for crying out loud

That was not a dumb decision. They had an all-pro and a pro bowler at tackle at the time. This comment is revisionist history.

Me too. The IOL held up pretty well against the Titans yesterday. The best OL the Ravens can field right now is IMO: Brown, Bozeman, Mekari, Powers, and Phillips.

Then draft a guard? Why draft a guy whos clearly a tackle and you do realize we hadn't resigned Stanley yet? Also there's a thing called depth

Inaccurate. His upside at OG is sky high. His mobility issues are greatly mitigated and he was showing refined technique with quicker, shorter strides.

His pass pro over his last few games was at a very high level.

He struggled in the run game and he looked like he was struggling to diagnose.

You could say that samething about Kelechi Osemele and look how that worked out. K.O play mostly at tackle in college and him and Tyrie Philips have similar physical make up but it's just that K.O was a bit more athletic which is why scouting reports figure that Philip would fit better as a guard than tackle.

You do know that many great guards were college tackles. JO played guard for a year, Yanda played guard for the rest of his career.. Both were tackles in college.
