It will be interesting to see if/when an infinite energy resource is discovered. That would be a game changer in all aspects of society.

I think it's possible. Not that resources are infinite, but there are more resources in the universe than Mankind will ever use.

We don't yet have the technology, but we're heading to a world where machines do all the work. They'll be able to produce whatever people want or need pretty much on demand. That's not even getting into such SciFi concepts as energy-to-matter conversion.

It all sounds crazy, but flight, trips to the Moon, and submarines were all crazy at one point.

Yep. I think masking and trying to socially distant is the best option without forced shutdowns. All this is doing is letting the bigger companies and wealthy profit
