Re: Ravens trading for ngakoue
We will see how it works out. I’m assuming this is for only the rest of this year because he’s going to be looking for almost as much as Stanley in the offseason.
In terms of play, the team was forced into this. Not much else to say. He’s an above average player that will probably look amazing compared to our JAG’s we have at OLB.

Re: Ravens trading for ngakoue
lol - I literally just read this in Jeff Z article:
In the franchise’s 25-year history, the Ravens have made only six trades during the regular season. Four of them were minor, the acquisitions of cornerback Will Davis (2015), wide receiver Chris Givens (2015) and running back Ty Montgomery (2018) costing the Ravens seventh-round picks; and the jettisoning of offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie (2013), getting the Ravens a conditional pick.
Before the Peters trade last October, the Ravens’ only pre-deadline deal of significance was the acquisition of left tackle Eugene Monroe from the Jaguars in 2013 for fourth- and fifth-round picks.
However, DeCosta is known to be a little more active on the trade market than his predecessor, Ozzie Newsome. Since he was promoted in January 2019, DeCosta has made eight trades, not counting deals struck during the draft. He is aggressive and wants to be in the mix when a difference-making player becomes available.

First QB he’ll see is no other than Ben in a game for first place. That’s going to be awesome!

New Ravens’ DE Yannick Ngakoue will fly to Baltimore in the next 24 hours to go through COVID testing so that he can be ready to join his new team next week after it comes off its bye and returns to start preparations for next Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Re: Ravens trading for ngakoue
Love this deal. He gets Judon's money w/far bigger impact. Re-sign Bowser & see SackDaddy improve. Great move, Eric!
