They started tier pricing last season and about 5-6 years ago they changed the single game price of preseason games. But no matter how they list the prices our price per game will always be total cost divided by number of home games.

Sorry Brtnder81 but it is not the total season cost divided by 10 like you said. I got my form to get in the lottery. The tickets in my section are $189 for the Steelers game (PRIME). You are saying it should be 1/10 of total of $1145 which means $114.50 for the game so you are wrong.

In a season where fans aren't able to attend the games you honestly thought ticket prices would remain the same?
Bleed Purple but don't be a homer

    Re: Tier ticket pricing

Take a game off from going, sell the tickets for as much as you can get for them, apply profits to the tickets that went up and you’d be right around where you were at to begin with.

Stop whining and be happy you are a fan of a team that’s relevant and you can sell tickets to even the biggest shitter of games.

Imagine being a Bengals fan right now and selling tickets for below face value. Look at the bright side of things.

Tier pricing is not the scam. It's merely a method to lose less on undesirable games. I don't like selling tickets, so I frequently either give exhibition games to grandkids or friends or trade "prime time" games to nearby seatmates for afternoon games, so I don't have to go out to the stadium at night, while being able to host children or friends for more pleasant afternoon games. I get better value this way.

btw: the real "scam" is the NFL's mandatory preseason games. Supposedly reduced to only 3 games next season, don't be surprised to see the paid exhibitions completely eliminated in the near future, with implementation of the 18 game schedule + 2nd bye week. No exhibitions in 2020 did not result in catastrophy. NFL cap managers can juggle books a bit, but, in the long run, NFL revenues are way down - mainly from the drops of 11% in TV ratings & 95% - 99% in attendance = multi-billion dollar hit. For the players to avoid future pay cuts, they'll concede the 18th game (in return for dropping exhibitions, 2nd bye week, and increased rosters). Then we'll finally see the end of the mandatory exhibition scam.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

So looking at the tier prices Titans would be $103. & NYG, Jax $74. for end zone. I 'll put in for those just to see a game.

Too bad the Ravens don't play the Jets this year. Otherwise the tier price would be $1.50 ... Bc
