Any doubt about the hard drive authenticity is now gone.

And frankly other than its confirmatory nature I don't care about his personal life (unless there is actually child porn in which case he has big legal problems). That he is a drug addict and has, let's say, an out-of-the-box sexual lifestyle I don't count against Biden's candidacy.

Per Mac Isaac, Giuliani, Bannon, and the NYPost, Giuliani, Bannon, the NYPost, the FBI, and the Delaware State Police all have copies at this point. The DSP say they turned it over to the Baltimore Field Office of the FBI. The FBI isn't going to comment. So that leaves Giuliani, Bannon, and the NYPost as the ones able to settle this.

Have you noticed nothing from the laptop demonstrably post-dates 2014? Weird, huh?

It's also kind of weird a laptop turned in for repair in April of 2019 would have emails from 2014 on it. I've had laptops I used for five years, but one wouldn't have found five year old emails on them. It's pretty unusual for people to have a work laptop that old or older, too, from what I've seen. The National Guard was always sluggish about getting updated leader laptops out, but never that sluggish. On the personal side, I bought my first laptop in '03, replaced it in '07, replaced that in '13, and the one from '13 in '17. Basically, every time I deployed I bought a new one. The '07 one was a decrepit wreck by the '13.

I don't know how stupid one has to be to believe this moronic crap coming from Giuliani and Schweizer, but obviously there are many people who can win that game of limbo.

Because at the time the request was made, they were the ones in possession of the hard drive as far as Biden's camp knew. And the Biden legal team was unaware that the FBI was in possession of the original. Because (as is painfully predictable with people of power) no investigation was opened by the FBI.

It would seem credible to me that the Biden lawyers demanded the return of the material from NY Post, as a result of having been solicited for comment before going to print.

Why would Giuliani or Bannon have made known to Biden their possession of the material before the NY Post story? Makes no sense.

It is possible that they made the request of Giuliani/Bannon after being solicited for comment by the NY Post... and after having made the same request of the post.

Regardless.. the request for return is verification that the material once belonged to Hunter Biden.

I didn't see them say when the request was made, and according to the Mac Isaac/Giuliani/NYPost timeline the FBI had the laptop (with hard drive) before Giuliani went to the NYPost. So, no, they wouldn't have had it at the time the request was made. Mac Isaac hasn't mentioned any communications with Hunter Biden or his lawyer, and Biden and his lawyer wouldn't have known who had it other than Mac Isaac prior to the NYPost coming out with the story.

The NYPost didn't seek any comment from the Bidens.

IOW, there wasn't any request for a return.

1. The laptop is either Hunter's or it isn't. Is there any reason to believe it is NOT his considering the Bidens have not said it isn't.

2. The emails are either legitimate or not. Again, the Bidens have not claimed they are illegitimate. In fact a person on the email chain of recipients has confirmed they are legitimate.

The rest of the blather going on here is nothing more than attempted distraction.

Shifting the burden of proof is standard conspiracy nutjob argument.

Those who have purported to show documents and pictures from a laptop they allege was Hunter Biden's have the burden to show this isn't a frame job, not the other way around. So far, they've elected to bluster about "more" coming out instead of establishing the bona fides.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Guiliani/Bannon, Derkach, and Schweizer (from Bannon's old employer, Breitbart) all start pumping out unfounded data around the same time. Surely they didn't all communicate and coordinate with each other.
