Yet another reminder that we could've drafted Stefon Diggs and passed up the opportunity. Uggghhhh.

Man it sure would have been nice to actually compete with these guys. Throw that game plan we had against KC out the window because these other teams that I think we are more talented than are actually giving them a game.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Yup 3 man rush much more effective than blitz so far

Honestly, the Chiefs have struggled in almost every game they have played outside of the one against us.

Against us, they just totally demolished us in every facet of the game.

We are the only team that went 85 Bears/46 defense blitz happy against them. I think it's 100% clear that you can't play that way against them. Mahomes will still make plays and score points of course, but this Chiefs offense reminds me of those "greatest show on turf" Rams teams of the late 90's/early 2000/s...blitzing them is like giving away free candy. Gotta see what the front 4 can do and give the 2nd and 3rd levels as many guys back there to cover as you can.
