I'd say over half in sports-players and fans-lean right. They respect toughness, hard work, are competitive...attributes that the left doesn't support that much. They're more into entitlement and rights they claim to have.

Who ever said I'm greatly opposed to abortion? It's pretty far down the list of reasons I vote. Sure I'd get rid of it if I could but there are a host of other things we've got to fix first.
Yes, each state should get to decide. As a Republican, I think states should be deciding a hell of a lot more than they do at the moment. My whole reason for being in this thread was to correct your misinterpretation of Roe."A moron, a rapist, and a Pittsburgh Steeler walk into a bar. He sits down and says, “Hi I’m Ben may I have a drink please?”

What it means is Roe has prevented pro-choice from being a major political issue for Democrats. There are some single-issue pro-choice voters on the Democratic side, but nothing compared to pro-life single-issue voters on the Republican side. Plus, it's meant Republicans can be volubly pro-life while never having to deliver.
