I really don't find the rankings of liberty in the United States compiled by European Socialists to be all that meaningful.

Nor do I suggest that the erosion of liberty already happening in the US isn't alarming in it's own right.

Well, I've looked up a variety of sources and every one that I have found has said that countries with a democratic socialist model have the highest social mobility. If you could find a couple of sources that say the opposite is true, I would love to get into the weeds and see if the data presented has merit.

The thing is, LITERALLY every advancement that we have made as a country is due to socialism!

We would very likely not agree as to what constitutes an "advancement".

If you break it down to two things: 1. Roads 2. Education. We would not be where we are as a country if we decided not to come together and socialize those two things. It's crazy how often y'all dismiss the greatness that socialism has brought us.

Public education produces one of two things (or in some cases both), functional illiteracy or indoctrination. We'd be far better off without it.

And I'd be just fine with roads paid for by user fees. Pay for your own damn highways. EZPass has been around for decades.The technology exists to make it transparent, and demanding at gunpoint that someone who lives on a farm in Wyoming pay for highways used everyday by some guy in New Jersey is yet another example of the evils of socialism.

No, I'm not asking you to look at it from a European point of view, I'm simply asking you to compare what we have here to European nations from your standards, and if you have statistics, use those to back up your claim.

Not only do we not benefit from public education, but we as a nation are HARMED by public education..

A far better education could be purchased on the free market by parents, if the money that was stolen from them for that purpose each year were returned to them.
