Inequalities Studies - Now a Minor at Duke University

Duke University, which charges over $58,000/year for tuition (unsure if this includes room/board, etc), is now offering a minor degree in Inequalities Studies.

I'm sure this will fit right in with the Gender Studies, Sociology, Dance Theory, and all of the other BS "squishy" academic degree plans that will provide zero roadmap for students to be competitive in the job market.

One of the real advantages of Covid Work-From_home nonsense is not having to be inundated with a new insert-your-victim-here-month programs complete with flyers posted everywhere... and some ridiculous flag on the flagpole with a bunch of colors that nobody knows how to interpret... and emails asking us all to come to meetings and to declare ourselves "allies" of the particular victim du-jour.... with praise for the brave allies, and scorn for the non-participants... and seminars telling us how many horrible crimes used to be committed against the victim of the month... etc... on and on and on...

Some people actually think that this crap makes companies better.

    It doesn't.

The people behind it know it doesn't make companies better.

That's kind of the point. Like literally the whole point.

I think that's true of the "people behind it" (as in it's architects)

But I think most of the rank and file HR devotees are just generally on the lower end of the bell curve, and chose a major they could pass... Usually associated with some kind of victimology...

And these people are worse than the insincere architects of this shit.

These are the ones who BELIEVE the shit.
