    Re: Realistic trade targets

noteworthy midseason trades are pretty rare for this team. last year was prob the biggest in franchise history. prior to that i dont think we had any big ones since Eugene Monroe in 2014. i dunno, i still think anything more than a 6th or 7th round pick from us seems unlikely, unless maybe EDC has some more magic up his sleeve

thing about midseason trades is the big ones are usually a team that feels it's window is closing and it's ome or two pieces from SB contender. with lamar the future is bright (but expensive) and building/adding through the draft seems to be the way to go

3rd for Kerrigan once they tank a bit more, putting it out into the universe. Could really use an X receiver too but those are super costly if you want one that is worth it

I'm not actually sure this is true?

I feel like Michael Gallup could be a legitimate target. You're not gonna get him for a 6th round pick, but that wasn't the question.

Dallas just signed Amari Cooper to a $100 Million dollar contract, and took CeeDee Lamb 17th overall.

Gallup is a Free Agent after 2021. I think it's doubtful that the Cowboys would retain him with those other two players in place, and the cap being depressed in the near future.

If they wait until next year, Dallas would only get a late(r) round pick for Gallup. If they did it this year, they could recoup a good pick.

I'd be willing to trade a real pick for a player like that.
