RIP EVH. Sad sad day. One of the best. Top Ten for me but I’m a blues guy first.

Guitar players are like football teams. Lots to love about a lot ...but fans are loyal to “their “ guy.
Duane Almann was Awesome.
BB King and Muddy Waters wrote the book on Blues guitar.
Everyone forgets Mr Les Paul! I mean the dude has The Guitar most of these other guys play ...named for him! Lmao.

Re: RIP Eddie Van Halen
Duane was awesome. I saw Greg Allman at Bonnaroo in 2011. Right after that, we went and saw Jeff Beck, then Bela Fleck, and then Warren Haynes. It was quite a day.
I mean, we could really get into some esoteric guitarists if we wanted to. Robert Fripp, Larry Corryell, Pat Metheny, and Al Di Meola would all be up there for me.

Jeff Beck will always be no.1 in my book. He did it all.
