I wonder if the Jets would be willing to trade Perriman?!?!?

I can see him going #1 overall instead of Lawrence if it's the Jets, Giants or the Bungles at that spot. Maybe Philly too.
Can't fathom jets not taking qb. He is likely to go #2 i would think

Douglass will want his own HC and that HC will want his own QB. If Douglass is really considering Roman for the Jets HC job, a duel threat QB plus a bunch of draft picks might not be a bad idea.

Lawrence is considered the best qb prospect since Andrew luck, who was the best prospect since Elway.

The only way Lawrence doesn't go first overall is if the Bengals end up as the first pick, and even then they would probably trade down 2 or 3 spots

U have to take qb in today's nfl.

I agree that the Jets will probably draft Lawrence. However, the Jets need a lot more than just Lawrence to make sure he doesn’t end up like Darnold. They could get a king’s ransom for that first pick and still get a QB in the first round.

I will be curious to see if Lawrence declares for the draft, but doesn’t hire an agent right away to retain some leverage of possibly returning to Clemson for another year to force the Jets to trade the first pick.

Quincy Roche is who I want out of the edge guys you listed. And Bateman probably won’t be there but I would love to have him in our offense...seems like a good fit for what we’re missing. Not a huge fan of going IOL in round 1 unless someone like Davis or Humphrey fell. Give me a slightly lower rated WR or edge all day.

What do you guys think of Joe Tryon as an edge prospect?

Yep. Perriman had 4 receptions for 62 yards last Sunday too
