    Jimmy Dore Show

Just wondering if anyone else here watches it?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOfkBRaWmGE

He calls it like he sees it. I appreciate that.

Have to consider that Jimmy Dore is pretty liberal on a lot of things, but my estimation is that he is Libertarian and (like many) are disgusted by modern political theater.

Not familiar with him. Where do you go to catch a show? When is he on?

He is (or was?) a comedian.

However, he uploads YouTube shows every couple of days. They're not long shows...and he basically just shits all over the media and how bad they are. He's not conservative/republican at all...he's definitely more in line with moderate progressives...ie...in favor of universal healthcare, etc....but he is adamantly against a lot of the identitarian factions of the far left wing. He dumps all over Trump and GOP'ers too.

Honestly...I think it is just pretty sad when comedians are the ones that are even keeled and calling it straight in today's society. It's wild to me that if I want a fair and balanced perspective on something I need to listen to guys like Joe Rogan and Jimmy Dore.

Another guy I recommend is Tim Pool. He's an independent journalist.

Jimmy and I see politics literally exactly the same. Only minor difference is I like Andrew Yang a little more than him. Other than that, I love the dude. He is what I wish the left actually was. Constantly hammering home on solutions as opposed to platitudes.

Thanks, gona check him out. Wish more people saw even keeled and calling it straight as a positive in todays culture. I fear we will never get anywhere as a nation until people realize cooperation wins out over confrontation more often than not.

I feel like he doesn't know who he is, and if he does, he doesn't do a good job of explaining it.

This is where I must politely say you are wrong. The identitarian wing of the party lies squarely within the corporatist wing with people like Pelosi, Kamala, et al....and they literally only use identity as a facade to get to votes to do bs.

The progressive wing of the party (Bernie, Yang, AOC) focus pretty much on working class issues that affect everybody. This is exactly why you see them always cape for Universal ideas like Healthcare, UBI, environmental change, free college, etc...

You can lump the second paragraph in to the first group. Sanders and AOC are all about the power that socialism, the green new deal etc. would give them.

First off, they are not socialists, they promote social democracy, which is a huge difference. Second of all, of course they would get more "power" in the literal sense of the word, but by championing a social democracy, they are effectively lightening their pockets by two huge means. One, they are proposing higher taxes on themselves, and two, neither of them accept zero corporate PAC money, which means they have no money coming in through the backdoor.
