Re: Darren Waller
He used his failures in Baltimore as motivation to succeed at Oakland. That's growth and I'm happy for him. Look at Josh Gordon, who like Waller had serious issues with weed and has yet to overcome his drug issues.

Re: Darren Waller
Glad the guy is doing well but this guy clearly had problems. Wasnt he suspended two straight years here? If I recall it was substance abuse issues.
We saw like 1 good game from him his entire career as a Raven. It sucks because he could probably be thriving in this offense and I recall his combine, for some reason I watched more of that combine than I do most and in the receiving drills he was very smooth. He looked like one of hte best WRS in all the drills that year.
Maybe we can now put to rest the argument of late round WRS who never panned out for Ozzie argument.
Raiders found a gem on the street and the Ravens lost a good talent for cheap but the lack of production here should be on Waller not the Ravens.

Re: Darren Waller
This young man (28) got a 2nd chance and made the most of it. Good for him! Some are disappointed that he didn't do it as a Raven, but life takes unexpected turns, Thankfully he took advantage of getting clean and it looks like a successful career ahead. I am for him... Bc

Re: Darren Waller
some people need a jolt to wake up
maybe getting cut did that
I think it happens to some of these big-time qbs
happy for him. I have a soft spot for anybody that wore the black and purple."Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." Re: Darren Waller
Waller has said that he needed to hit rock bottom and leave this area. He wasn't going to succeed here and the way he was going was going to ruin his life. It all worked out for the best

Re: Darren Waller
It would appear that Waller and Perriman are the only 2 examples of players who’ve moved on from here and actually...improved. Waller is way better than Perriman but still. As great as our culture is here ...clearly it’s not for everyone. Good for those guys.
