the steelers don't just draft receivers for the steelers they also draft receivers for the rest of the league. there has been ex-steelers starting for teams all over the league. thye never need to offer a second contract to a receiver because they are able to draft another to take their place.

our OL needs to get up to speed before we face the steelers.

The Steelers are to receivers as the Ravens are to tight ends.

The Steelers draft a ton of receivers. They don't work out

    Sammi Coates
    Dri Archer
    Martavious Bryant
    Markus Wheaton
    Limas Sweed

The others are spot on but Mattavious Bryant was well on his way to being very good.

Personal issues and struggles with addiction led to him being out of the league. Not because he was bad.

in our defense, we only drafted 7 WRs in the first three rounds during 2+ decades under Ozzie Newsome. steelers drafted twice as many over that span. if we had used as many high draft picks as them and had these results it would be much more depressing.

PTO, much as I'd hate to say it Antonio Brown was a Steeler 6th round draft choice... Bc

What stands out for me is that they have found talent outside the first round.

    Ward 3rd
    Randle El 2nd
    Mike Wallace 3rd
    Emmanuel Sanders 3rd
    Smith Shuster 2nd
    Washington 2nd
    Claypool 2nd

GOTA's list of misses is just as long, but they do have hits. When have the Ravens ever hit on second or third round receiver? Torrey Smith and....?

And when the Steelers occasionally use a first rounder on a player, they tend not to miss. Burress, Holmes. I don't think I need to review the Ravens first round WRs.

They like to use their first round picks on defense or interior offensive line.

Hopefully Decosta has snapped the tendencies when it comes to the Ravens drafting WRs.
