Re: Coachwatch 2020
Coming off two consecutive 9-7 seasons when he arrived there, since then they've gone:
6-10
3-12-1
1-3 so far
Everyone knows it takes more than 3 years to transform the 9-7 team you inherited into a winner.

Re: Coachwatch 2020
I wouldn't want to *fire* him.
But I would want Bevel on the staff working Lamar.
However/whatever that looks like.
I want someone on the field that Lamar can talk to and I would prefer that person to have experience working directly with QBs and calling plays.
Lamar doesn't have anyone like that on the staff.
Roman is great but passing game isn't his strong suit and right now he's in the booth not on the field.
Not sure if Culley has called plays but his forte is WRs.
Urban has worked with QB but never been a coordinator nor a playcaller.
Bevell, Dirk Koetter, Linehan, Kellen Moore and Brad Childress (on staff but not a position coach) are on my short list"Those corners...and those safeties are going to be one-on-one... and we got to make them pay for it," Harbs
"I think he’d be[Lamar] the greatest player in the history of the game,” Young said

HC O'Brian and GM O'Brian both sucked.
Romeo Crennell interim?"Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)

Re: Coachwatch 2020
Aaron Wilson, now writing for Houston Chronicle, suggested Roman is a potential candidate for Texans job.
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.

Re: Coachwatch 2020
PFT had a story about people being upset the Texans aren't following the Rooney Rule before appointing Easterby as GM. Guess they forgot about Crennell getting the HC job.
