really...how about the 7 to 8 drops and two were for touchdowns. The loss wasn't on Lamar.

And he's never lost a pro game in a stadium without fans.

But you know what they say - there's always a first time.

I have nightmares of Skura being blown up on every offensive snap. He says he's ninety percent back but it looks more like nineteen percent to me.

    We destroyed the Browns.

We both beat the Texans by about the same amount of points , but we played them on the road.

Therefore we are about 7-10pts better than the Chiefs.
Too bad this kind of thinking rarely is correct.

Completely forgot that this year only one team will get a playoff bye. So this game becomes even more enormous.

The Chiefs have an elite offense. But about that defense ...

    — Week 1: 6.9 yards per play allowed vs. shotgun
    — Week 2. 7.8 yards per play allowed vs. shotgun/pistol

The Ravens use the shotgun and pistol almost exclusively. Kansas City might be screwed.

It looks to be a battle between Lamar and Rodgers for MVP this year.

And while we don't have the front 4 the Chargers have, most fans posting there seem to think our D is "average". Totally selling our safeties short, not acknowledging how good our CBs are and not giving our LBs any credit.

But most acknowledge their LBs are bad (hello MAndrews & Sneed) and are really counting on Pennel to come back from suspension and being able to immediately stop our running game.

    Game Plan:

    1. Run the damn football and don't get cute. Even if we are down, RUN. THE. FOOTBALL.
    2. Hit passes outside the numbers and deep on the first few drives. Need to open that middle of the field.
    3. OL (Skura, I'm looking at you) needs to tighten their shit up.
    4. Jump out to the lead.
    5. Need to blitz Maholmes judiciously. I'd go with 5 man max with some stunts.
    6. Take away the run, especially CEH.

It sucks that this is our biggest game in YEARS but we won't have a home field advantage.

Agreed. What has cost us in the past is giving up the run game too early. I sure hope Harbs has learned that lesson. We win with the run.

And I think we need run right at Chris Jones. I read somewhere (Chiefs message board?) this week that he seemed "disinterested" in playing run D. You wear down the opposing pass rushers by running at them.

We will also need to win the turnover battle. I do think MP Juice Man will have a little more "juice" playing against the team that gave up on him. Peters seems to save his best for prime time games.

Neither guy is comparable to Russ Wilson after two weeks. This is probably Russ year.

As a team the chiefs have the 2nd most missed tackles in the NFL as well.

I definitely want to see our run game get going early. We need to eat clock and not let their D get after Lamar on the pass rush. If we have those typical Ravens drives that eat a ton of time and end with TD's, I like our odds.
