He knows what happens if he puts Barrett up. The Dems attack her; it turns everybody off and makes her popular; she gets pushed through because the Pubs have the votes if not the will; the left does their thing and goes violent in the streets; and it helps him win reelection.
Well you guys know Trump better than I. I just pray that the selection is indeed Barrett. I honestly fear for the country if Cotton gets his name called.

There are a lot of good arguments on what will happen and why but I don’t know what’ll happen.

I think Trump will nominate someone but might drag it out till the first debate. The Senate May do a confirmation hearing and if they vote I think it falls short cause Romney and Collins.

Meh. That wouldn’t have much to do with the SCOTUS.

    1. I'm reading that 3 GOP No's are needed, but I'm not sure

    2. I personally think they'll fall in line at the end of the day.

Why not? These things have to be changed at the federal level, no?

Trump isn't nominating Cotton or Cruz. I guarantee it.

    I can't promise Barrett. But I'm like 90% sure.

But it will ultimately come down to is it constitutional or not. It may not even be something that ever gets to the SCOTUS.

I understand that’s who he wanted last time but Kennedy made a deal to retire if it was Kavanaugh to replace him.

Ok, I hope you're right bro. I really really hope the sensible pick in Barrett is made.

Be OK with Barrett or Cruz.

    Not a Cotton fan
