Biggest potential issue with ssn would be identity theft maybe? I do remember seeing an article a couple years back about a study where the team was able to guess them pretty successfully.

Trump said there were millions of fraudulent votes last time. Millions.

And the left thinks that policies involving Socialistic Redistribution, Abortion, Government Control, Sexual Degeneracy, and The Destruction of the Nuclear Family will appeal to these imported families.

Latino voters didn’t back Trump. He lost that demographic and this year it will be a bigger loss.

That was not the question. Do you know how thin the margin was in a couple of states? Does the Electoral College ring a bell? You stated...."millions required to change an election.". That is not the case. Just sayin'.....

    Latinos...

They were OK with Lefty help climbing the fence...

But now that they're here... they don't like your commie policies.... They don't like your riots.... They don't like your Social Justice bullshit.... They don't like your fight for the right of grown men to follow little girls into the bathroom... They don't like the party that spits in the face of people of faith... They don't like Creepy Cross-Dressing Pervs reading to little kids at the Library.... And they don't like you taxing them to death.

Latinos... the left has them for one generation.

Then they grow up and become productive citizens. (and are subsequently repulsed by your party).

You're gonna be really sorry you played this game.

Aren't you planning on voting democrat?

Maybe if you are feeling abused by me pointing out these things your chosen party stands for... you ought to reconsider your chosen party... rather than be upset at someone pointing it out.

It Burns!! It Burns Us... Please... Take it away....

Nah Fuck the DNC. Fuck the Trump Party. Instead of actually doing something to fix this broken country, all you want to do is Fuck the Liberals. Waste of time even considering what either side is pushing, they are both fucked in the head.

The best reason to vote Biden, is to rile up all the Trump Party lemmings.

They shouldn't have done it in 2000, either. The Constitution and U.S. Code both have systems for settling presidential election controversies and the Court isn't in either of them.

    On other points:

I don't know if Florida is still under a Consent Decree on the matter, but in 2000 they were required by one to accept mailed ballots up to ten days after the election provided they were postmarked by the election. Many other states have similar laws or agreements.

It's very likely we won't really know who won the evening of Nov. 3rd, and it's ridiculous to think we should or must.

Sure. I think a decentralized, e-voting system that sends one-time passwords to people via mail (just like they did with the Censys) could absolutely be effective for producing an accurate election. There will always be fraud, but I think if you want voter turnout and participation, making it online makes a lot of sense.

The problem, IMO, is that the federal government can't handle it. They don't have the people to really stand something like this up - just look at the ACA debacle. What should happen is every state/local government should work with the private sector to build something like this out.

Make it a dual-factor authentication protocol for voting.

You get mailed a passcode or something a few weeks in advance.

You log in to your state's encrypted e-vote portal by using your name, social/state license or ID#, and enter your mobile phone number. Choose an option to receive a push 2FA authentication 6-8 digit PIN number that you then have to enter into the e-voting site. Once that happens, the you have to enter in the passcode that you received in the mail.

Pretty simple and almost everyone in the country should be able to do that. It adds several layers of authentication security into the mix and it would make it incredibly difficult for cyber threats to have any kind of meaningful impact on elections....especially national elections.

Big thing for me is to keep everything decentralized. I dont want a central election system that is run by the federal government for two reasons. 1) The federal government fucking sucks at pretty much everything they do. 2) Having 1 thing for cyber threats to focus on greatly increases risk.

At this point, SSN's are almost public knowledge.
