And one less game to play. That's important.

That's a stupid question. How'd the #4 seed work the year before? Better?

Since the advent of the 12-team playoff format in 1990, 31 of 58 #1 seeds have made the SB. That's 53.4%. In that same period, only 16 #2 seeds have made it. That’s a 27.6%, or about half the pctg of the #1s.

I don't know about #3 seeds or #4 seeds or wildcards; but there's only 19% left to split among the other 4 seeds, so I'm betting the individual numbers aren't very good.

Having the #1 seed and playing at home is by far the best path to the SB. Avoiding that out of fear or some weird superstition, doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

I’d rather be a 3 seed than be the one seed again.
No, 4-2 is decidedly NOT to be expected.
There is no reason we should lose to the Browns in the rematch
There is no reason we should lose to a rebuilding Bengals team with a rookie QB
And there is no reason we should be getting swept by the Steelers.

We are a better team than all 3 of our opponents. I can see us maybe slipping up once to go 5-1, but if we end up going 3-2 in our 5 remaining games against the AFCN, something has gone wrong.

On the road for TNF being the most obvious candidate.

I don't disagree: but in this weird season of covid, it's not bizarre to assume that something will go wrong, somewhere down the line.

just realized the Ravens have back to back TNF games late in the season then 10 days off before Browns rematch. They won't lost that game
