Same can be said of some of these police shootings. But all are being trashed and targeted unfortunately. We saw the result of that in LA.

Its this type of cavalier attitude that is keeping this country divided. This is clearly an event that everyone on all sides of the political spectrum should condemn with extreme prejudice and not the "ah, its just an isolated incident..."

There are a lot of events that should be condemned with extreme prejudice that just get dismissed with "ah, it's just an isolated incident."

I think it's pretty standard now for a cop to be put on leave after they are involved in a shooting. This is a case where the body camera footage is a good thing. I don't really understand why this would trigger a riot. Part of me thinks people from out of town must be flying in and doing this stuff/agitating when these events happen. Makes no sense.

It is pretty standard for police involved in a shooting to get put on paid leave or modified duty (desk work) while an "investigation" happens, yes.
