Matthews had more sacks last year than Bowser and Ferguson combined and was 1.5 short of Judon. He is definitely an upgrade over Ferguson, lol. Not saying we should sign him, though.

Yeah but according to PFF Tyus Bowers overall grade last season was 70.8 and Jaylon Ferguson overall grade was 58.0 while Clay Matthews overall grade was 54.5. Sacks don't tell the whole story when it comes to a edged defender. I don't doubt that Clay Matthews probably has more quarterback pressure than Jaylon Ferguson especially since he was a regular starter for most the year last year.

He did all that in the first half of the season before he broke his jaw too. He's definitely worth considering.

Yeah they made a lot of players look mediocre to bad that day. I think Ramsey made 1 good play, Donald was invisible and their other DL had a play or two. But that was it.
