My niece once was the kid holding up the entire plane from unloading on a delayed and diverted flight on a foggy day coming home from Christmas travel to grandmas. When my brother in law finally succeeded in dragging her off the plane and throwing her down in the jetway people were walking by like "you need to beat that child!", "corporal punishment is fine with us".
