De Joy just announced that the USPS will be pulling a number of high speed mail sorters in a cost cutting measure before the election.

  2. Re: USPS: Good Business, Attack on Besos, or an Exercise in Voter Suppression?

Florida announced today that Trumps have requested absentee ballots. this just moments before the president was quoted saying "People should have to vote in person, the old fashioned way." Who could dream this stuff.

    That’s not all he said.

He said people should vote in person, the old fashioned way...but if they couldn’t or don’t feel safe, then they should use absentee ballots.

Also, Trump lives in Florida. He has to use an absentee ballot.

Love the shaped narrative of the media...

It’s not in accurate but it’s surely dishonest...

HAHAHA, there is no reason in the world for him to vote absentee. He spends almost as much time at Mar A Lago as he does DC. :)

This whloe mail in ballot thing is a result of people not feeling safe and we know where he stands on that....

  6. Re: USPS: Good Business, Attack on Besos, or an Exercise in Voter Suppression?

QUESTION: are all these new vote by mail states planning on shutting down in person voting? In PA for example, will people be forced to vote by mail or will they have an option? Does anyone have the answer to this?

Everybody w/i the political establishment pretty much agreed that paper ballots were more susceptible to fraud, pre-Trump. See Nadler video above.

NOW...they're pretending that absentee ballots and "mail-in" ballots are the same thing. They do the same thing w/illegal immigration and immigration. They intentionally conflate the two and the sheep simply nod in approval w/o the slightest comprehension that they're being lied to because **checks notes** Trump is Hitler.
But but the news says it’s good so we must agree

Pennsylvania lawmakers last year passed an extension of mail-in ballot options to allow all residents to vote by mail even if they do not have a stated reason to do so. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a surge in demand for absentee ballots in the state, which was mitigated during the June 2 primary with the use of absentee ballot drop boxes in some counties.

“Contrary to the direction of Pennsylvania’s General Assembly, defendants have sacrificed the sanctity of in-person voting at the altar of unmonitored mail-in voting and have exponentially enhanced the threat that fraudulent or otherwise ineligible ballots will be cast and counted in the upcoming general election,” the lawsuit states.

    Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
That was mentioned above. Judge basically told them to put up or shut up as far as evidence of fraud goes.

Don't think there's a difference? At least in MD you just are requesting an absentee ballot.

Not following all this, been seen pics and videos online of postboxes being removed across the country.

Is this to stop mail order votes?

Are more dems likely to mail votes?

Why dont they just nip in a vote?

Haven't seen anything about box removal. Don't know if some got damaged during the protests.

There's a mail slowdown .? Could it be because post office workers have a union.

Because in many states, voters must fit the criteria to receive an absentee ballot (e.g. not able to return home to vote; deployed military are the largest group of absentee ballot users). I looked at the rules for a few states, and it gets pretty absurd. Here's PA:

    https://www.votespa.com/Voting-in-PA...ee-Ballot.aspx

You have to meet at least one of their criteria to get an absentee ballot. But to get a mail-in ballot, there's only one: you have to be a registered voter.

So we should do the reverse, i.e. eliminate absentee ballots and allow everyone to request a mail-in ballot. Or, as some states already do, send everyone a ballot (that's the cue for the "widespread fraud" conspiracy folks to go ballistic, because, as we all should know, every one of your neighbors can forge your signature, and millions of housewives get bullied into voting for their husband's candidate [/s]).
