Re: Players you Particularly Remember
Haruki Nakamura. Always liked his game. Met him once downtown and he was such a humble and down to earth guy.

Re: Players you Particularly Remember
Can we hearken back to the pre-Mayflower Van days?
Oilers played a game vs Baltimore, and I saw Nesby Glasgow drop Earl Campbell behind the line of scrimmage on a sweep right, like an anti-tank missile. BOOM! Couldn't even see him clearly. Just a blue-&-white blue with an after-image of the number 25, and then Campbell crumpling.
This was probably 1983?
Nesby played in the league for 14 years! He died this past February, stomach cancer.

Re: Players you Particularly Remember
Flynn maybe should have been replaced. Boller was often remembered for tripping over his own feet, but more often than not he was being tripped by his center being pushed back into him.
Love the guy, and had a great career for a UDFA out of Maine. But weak pass blocking up the middle is one of the un-talked-about reasons for a decade or more of an abysmal passing game."Chin up, chest out."

Re: Players you Particularly Remember
Kelley Washington was always a very entertaining player to me for his over the top touchdown and first down celebrations. I can't believe he only played one season for us 11 years ago where does the time go?
