    Daylon Mack Cut

How do you all feel about this? I find it a bit strange considering the lack of depth league wide with COVID.

They got Brandon Williams and Jelly Ellis, I think they'll be good without a Mack.

The rookies coming in this year pushed him out.

    DI:

Ward, Williams, Wolfe, Campbell, Justin Ellis, Madibuike, Washington
"Those corners...and those safeties are going to be one-on-one... and we got to make them pay for it," Harbs

"I think he’d be[Lamar] the greatest player in the history of the game,” Young said

5th rounder - they have to get down to 80

I'm a little surprised he was cut this early tbh. Watch him end up on either the Browns or the Jets.
You guys wanna hear a funny joke?

    Feels like a foregone conclusion.

There must be something they didn't like. It seems like a strange time when you have a bunch of undrafted guys who didn't get a chance to have a rookie camp. Is the unknown of someone like that greater than the known of a recent 5th round pick? Apparently.

That’s strange. Wouldn’t have anticipated Mack being cut.

They didn't even NEED to cut him.

    They're sitting at 79 players.

If he's cut early he'll have the best opportunity to sign with another team. Could be a favor.

Don't have to delve into the UDFA pool - they have Campbell, Wolfe, B-Will, Jelly, Jihad, Madubuike, McPhee, Washington and Ricard to account for. But we'll see if a story comes out.

I wouldnt be surprised if he reported out of shape, and the team figured they have enough depth that they don't need to keep him around while he tries to get into shape.
