I would be fine with the Ravens signing AB to a one-year deal, which will now just be for 8 games plus the playoffs. I don’t see any significant risk to doing that. They can evaluate what they want to do for the 2021 season in the off-season.

Well, then he would be available for the playoffs. I don’t think any team will sign him before Week 1, so his salary wouldn’t be guaranteed. So, if he goes off the deep end, then he could be cut without any cap ramifications.

I think the concerns about AB are overblown if he is only signed to a one year deal. I would not immediately sign him to a multi-year contract though. Just see how things go this year before making a longer term commitment.
