Any one ever use BikesDirect? If so I am looking for a mountain bike and some advice would be nice. I don't need a top end crazy expensive bike. If it fits well and has decent (not necessarily top flight) components I'll be happy.

I have a 35 inch inseam and am 6' 2". I had a 28" fram bike with 26 inch wheels years ago and it fit me pretty well. I liked that bike a lot but I'm guessing technology has gotten a lot better since I bought it in 1995.

My neighbor is telling me I should get a 29er but I'm not sure. Apparently that's where things are headed. I've also noticed 27.5 is popular, perhaps because it's more maneuverable than 29...

Any advice would be appreciated. I still want an e-bike too but want to start with a cheap bike. I would cherry pick at the dump if it was allowed but it's not.
