Reminds me of a righteous tune.

You advocate a philosophy that is founded in "from each according to his ability, and to each according to his need".

And yet you live in lavish abundance relative to some of your more humble brethren.

A home... a car... a computer with which to speak to the world... abundant food... nice clothes.

And you expect us to believe that you practice what you preach?

You are a fraud and a charlatan.

Your sense of "fair play" applies only to others... not to yourself.

Please show me a stat where half our population is on the brink of eviction...

There isn’t much that is more important than space travel, IMO. The LONG term continuation of human life depends on it. Earth has an expiration date. Mars Expiration date would be “slightly(cosmologically speaking)” later. Eventually we WILL have to find another star to live near.

You're willing to give more, what is stopping you?

So what is your solution for the issue? Completely get what your premise is, half the country can't work or is as poor as Vanilla Ice, but does that mean other people who can make money shouldn't?

I would venture a guess that he thinks the rich should (be forced to)give more

As much as most of the guys on here dislike Bezos, which is due to his politics and being the owner of WAPO, we hate the idea of eating the rich and wealth redistribution more. It won't stop at his money.

    And to be honest,

The future of liberty (as opposed to totalitarian hell) depends on it.

Liberty is a transient condition. It can exist only for fleeting snippets in the grand scheme of things... and generally on frontiers. Once the bureaucrats arrive it's only a matter of time before they begin helping people solve "their problems" by taking their shit, and controlling them for the privilege.

Getting off this rock opens an inexhaustible source of frontiers.

And the opportunity to escape the parasites that are bureaucrats.

Your economic world view destroys innovation and growth.

It ends with people standing in line for meager rations.

    Always.

This is because the economic model you propose removes the incentive for economic success.

The world is a better place because of the free market model.

    And ONLY because of it.
    1. We all agreed that banning cops was extreme! Not just myself. Y'all just kept focusing on the extremes!

    2. Yes, because FDR policies were horrible for America.

Why don’t you describe it as an economy where consumers have the greatest amount of choice on where to spend their money for the goods and services they desire???

You sir are not making a lick of sense.

Voting for socialists means that you are willing to give from what you have in order for those less than you to have as well. If I preached socialism and voted for republicans or establishment dems, then that's called being a charlatan. I think you have your definitions mixed up.

Many of your socialist brethren disagree. And have begun the process of doing just that.

    2. Yes, because FDR policies were horrible for America.
Yes. Exactly. They were the beginning of the end of America.
