    Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos made $13 Billion dollars the other day, while America is on the brink of a depression. The fact that y'all believe in deregulation of markets, unfettered free markets, trickle-down economics, and cutting taxes for the wealthy is absolutely:

Amazon pays higher entry level wages than anywhere around southern PA.
Bezoar was in the right place at the tight time to capitalize on a market necessity and came through when Americans needed Amazon most. He should be rightfully rewarded for that.
How much is too much? Not for me to say.

A couple decades ago people said the same things about Bill Gates and look what he decided to spend his wealth on. Far better spent than in a government’s pockets. Musk is financing a mission to Mars. Below is also spending ungodly sums of money on space travel that NASA no longer can afford:
    Think bigger picture.

Lol everyone knew exactly what I meant when I said I was socially libertarian, but be ignorant if you wish.

I note that your sense of equality and generosity apply only to other peoples' wealth and success... and not your own.

Surely there are people in need of things that you have... and yet... you have not given them.

I find this common among the advocates of "fairness"

Lol WHAT?? How could I not be willing to give them if I'm willing to pay slightly more taxes in a more socialist economy? Me advocating for a socialist economy LITERALLY means that I am willing to give more for the benefit of everyone.

Yes because enabling people to fly to Mars is SO much more important than half your population being on the brink of eviction and/or homelessness. Y'all be killing me with this stuff.

Reminds me of a righteous tune.

-"You are about to enter a world of pain."

Please show me a stat where half our population is on the brink of eviction...

There isn’t much that is more important than space travel, IMO. The LONG term continuation of human life depends on it. Earth has an expiration date. Mars Expiration date would be “slightly(cosmologically speaking)” later. Eventually we WILL have to find another star to live near.
The worlds first trillionaire will likely pioneer mining of asteroids.

    And to be honest,

The future of liberty (as opposed to totalitarian hell) depends on it.

Liberty is a transient condition. It can exist only for fleeting snippets in the grand scheme of things... and generally on frontiers. Once the bureaucrats arrive it's only a matter of time before they begin helping people solve "their problems" by taking their shit, and controlling them for the privilege.

Getting off this rock opens an inexhaustible source of frontiers.

And the opportunity to escape the parasites that are bureaucrats.

There is a Christian phrase that says "Don't be so heavenly minded, that you are no earthly good." Let me tell you something....nobody will make it to space if people get so desperate to the point where lawlessness destroys the businesses of those capable of even thinking of going to the moon.

There are way to many issues on earth to even think about Mars.

    Da Kommrade

Markets need to be tightly regulated by the central committee.

Things will not be fair until we all wait together for our ration of rice.
