You will be forced to care. Remember: silence is violence.

Yeah I wonder how people who are ambivalent are going to react when you have the produced segments on those being ‘honored’ and what a ‘hero’ this player is.

I'm an atheist but I didn't care if players like Tebow put Bible verses under their eyes. I seem to remember this no longer being allowed, but maybe they should let players do so if their faith is important to them.

At the end of the day, I've accepted I'm not always gonna agree with athletes, celebrities, etc., but that's ok! It's life living in America. Agree to disagree. I can separate the player/what they do on the field vs their beliefs off.

This. There's a reason when you go to the neighborhood block party you don't talk about politics. It's really that simple. Keep it about the potato salad, burgers and beer. Enjoy the food and enjoy your neighbors.

I'm not a fan of any political or social justice message in sports. If it becomes to much it won't be hard at all to find something else to do with my time.

IF these past 4/5 months have shown us anything, it's we can live without sports.

My thoughts exactly. I won't complain about the players doing whatever they need to do, but I may find something else to do also.

So true. We've gone from microaggressions to "doing nothing is violence".

Where there is no oppression it has to be invented. The business model depends on it.

That's where I'm at, too. I've kinda been there for a few years and just keep losing interest. I'm at the point now where I really don't care if I watch the game or not. I wouldn't have said that even a few years ago. Also, it's way bigger than the Kaepernick saga. That's part of it, but by no means the biggest part. It's more the way the NFL and sports in general have evolved.
