    I wish you guys would stop spouting your Eurocentric white supremacist culture and history on us. There is no "white" history outside the context of oppressor and oppressed narrative and that doesn't involve the US and the institution of slavery. That's all there is. If you guys were a statue I'd be tearing you down.

    Just listened to the Tartine Violin Sonata from that article. Very interesting stuff there.

    Basically, Symphonie Fantastique didn't just use as written, it did variations on it. Since it was part of the church's funeral requiem this supposedly was somewhat scandalous.
