    Happy Friday. We're heading to my parents' place at the beach in a few hours. Probably not doing much at all... just looking for a change of scenery. What's up with everyone?

    The beach is still and always will be the beach.

    Slather on some coconut smelling stuff, drink something fruity and alcoholic, eat some greasy vinegar fries etc..

    Thanks! Yes enough opportunities to social distance outside. No restaurants or bars for us, will be weird! Car ride should be interesting with the little guys but hopefully they'll sleep most of the way!

    Going to see my grandma today for the first time since the pandemic started. It'll be the first time Scar (19 months now) will have seen her since February. Pretty crazy stuff.

    We've seen my mom a few times since, but not my grandma.

    Just realyl hits home how much this has separated families.

    We hit 6 days already of 90 degrees or above this year and last year we only hit 90 or above 3 times.
