The cities are populated by Democrat constituencies who think they will benefit from electing leftist fanatics. They will continue to leave them in office because they say what people want to hear and throw funding at them from time to time. It will take a lot of violence against the black and other communities by the cities' criminal elements to make them change their minds. Even after Geo. Soros croaks, his sons w/continue to fund leftists, and they w/continue to be elected.
