Instead of defunding the police, they rebuilt it from the ground up and provided officers with the tools to do their jobs safely.

I still wouldn’t be walking around Camden at night, but it’s WAY safer than it was 10-15 years ago.

IMO, Camden’s approach is something many police departments should consider.
