That's the gist of this. This should not be that hard. People have been trying to get the name changed for years. This is nothing new. It is offensive. There is any number of names they could use instead.

Their logo could either be a knife stabbing a back or two people in suits yelling at each other.

Doesn't the NFL require that teams notify the league a year in advance of any uniform, logo and in this case name change?

I imagine they'd waive that to end the headache.
