My head says you're right. My heart hopes you're wrong. This year's Ravens squad is a championship juggernaut. Potentially a historic team. It would suck for this to be the season that gets cancelled. (As opposed to say 2015.)

Of course there are more important matters. But this selfish concern weighs on me.

I know. With so many good players on rookie deals, old players still effective and coaches still around, we'll probably never again go into a season so well set up to win as this year.

Maybe we'll get some kind of mini season, with maybe 6 regular season games at the end of the year, if all goes well.

The Dallas Cowboys-Pittsburgh Steelers preseason opener at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 6 is being canceled and the Hall of Fame's enshrinement ceremony on Aug. 8 is being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, league sources told ESPN.

Going to be interesting to see if Jenkins is a one off or if there are others that feel the same way, and the bigger question is, if the landscape looks like it does now in a couple months...which lets be real is quite likely...would they actually decline to play? Easy to say in June.

baseball players are opting out of the season in concern for their family health. The virus is getting worse, not better. As much as we want and need sports, it's not looking too good right now

Let that sink in. Baseball players are opting out of guaranteed contracts.

Funny, I've been watching a lot of "Ed, Edd and Eddy" lately and I sense that the restart will remind me of that cartoon.
