Nah. I never owned a jersey. Well, I had a bob griese jersey as a kid. But I haven’t owned one since. I don’t plan on starting this season.

So what do I have to get over? That black players are not just protesting the flag, they are now condemning anyone that respects the flag? I don’t need to get over that.

I won't say it ruined it, but it brought politics into football at a level its never been introduced before.

The founding father of our country wanted a separation between church and state, not because they worried about religion in their politics but because they feared politics in their religion. Football is my religion and I prefer it without the taint of politics, especially given how divisive they have become on both sides. Football brings us together aside from our differences. It shouldn't serve as a platform for political beliefs that separate us.

He’s not being attacked for respecting the flag. He’s being attacked for being willfully ignorant.

In an NFL locker room in a city like New Orleans and he still thinks it was about the flag? It never crossed his mind to maybe ask his teammates/community why they were kneeling?
