They still have until July 15th to work out a long term deal I believe. Might be better off just letting him play under the tag in 2020 and see.how he does.

Dude wants to remain a Raven... you can’t hate on that. You can’t pay everyone just because they are a good soldier, I’m kinda torn on this guy long term.

He's one that divides the board almost as bad as politics. It seemed to me the guy played hard and makes a great impact, except he's stuck in that "he's good, but not great" quandary

    Re: Judon signed franchise tag

A couple of news outlets have been commenting on the possible impact of the virus on next years cap. I have read that the cap could either drop significantly next year or remain flat for the next few years. Could that possibly be impacting EDCs thinking when it comes to contracts for Judon and maybe extensions for Stanley and Hump as well? I mean if the team is looking at a 20-30 mil drop in next years cap or a flat cap for 2 or 3 seasons how can the team possibly pay some of these key players the money they are going to want coming of rookie deals?

    I want Judon long-term.

I don't know what that contract will look like, and I'm definitely not looking to make him the highest paid pass rusher in the league...but he's worth significant dollars in my opinion.

He was willing to sign the LB tag no complaints(a mil or two less than DE).
He might be pretty reasonable: Just give him Zadarious Smiths deal.

Same here, I like his motor. I cant believe people on here want Clowney over him.

Dramatically better run defender. Night and day.
But we added Campbell and Wolfe, plus Queen and Harrison. Might not matter “as much”, but it would be great if Judon could figure out how to set an edge.
