All Decade Team Announced

The All Decade for the 2010s was announced. There were just 8 unanimous selections and only a single team had 2 players on that elite list

And that team is........... The Baltimore Ravens

Marshal Yanda and Justin Tucker

Well deserved!

The other 6 were Tom Brady, JJ Watt, Aaron Donald, Adrian Peterson, Von Miller and Joe Thomas

Didn’t we just have the All 100 team. I know the news cycle for sports is kind of slow but gee whiz how many different ways can they do these different player ranking things.

This is the one put out by the Hall of Fame. The good news is the guys who vote for this are heavily involved in the HOF voting. If they think this highly of Yanda and Tucker now there is no reason why they shouldn't when they are Hall of Fame eligible.

For sure. Being on an All Decade team definitely helps your HOF case even it lasts through the Senior Committee.

Strange that they dropped 1st and 2nd team designations.

Brady and peppers were in the 2000s team on the decade as well.

The 2 teens were not populated by Fullback teams. Ravens have been one of the few to use the FB.

Travis Kelce made it tho. As did Patrick Willis who retired in like 2013. If Willis can be on there then Ed should’ve made it over Mathieu and/or Harris

I don’t think Kelce had as much competition at his position, compared to the WR position.

If he's a unanimous choice of the HoF selection committee I'd hope that makes him a first ballot certainty.

I just looked at this year's retirements - there are two other certainties - Antonio Gates, Kuechly - and then some maybes like Frederick, Eli, Sproles too.
