You would buy anything and Everything you wanted right? Not only for yourself, but for all the people you love and care for. Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it all on yourself, right?

You would try to spend every penny, and use it all, because you knew it would be replenished in the morning, right?

I'm reminded of the old adage "Getting old sucks. But it sure beats the alternative."

But, I gotta say, in this "new normal" of social distancing, 86,400 seconds never felt so long.

I've already lived longer than my mother, father, and brother have. With all my grand-parents gone too, it's sad to not have any close relatives to share holidays and just plain everyday life with. Of course that's reserved for my wife and daughter now, but they don't know a thing about my childhood. As I've aged my philosophy on life has too. I really do appreciate opening my eyes in the morning and having that cuppa java. Do I live life to the fullest? Nobody really does, but I damn sure am giving it my best try... Bc

If you're a reasonably normal human bean, you're going to spend roughly 28,800 of those seconds asleep, maybe another 5,400 of them performing other necessary functions...& although I know many of us "multitask" while holding court upon the Porcelain Throne () (TMI!), the question is what do you do with the remaining 52,200.
