One of my favorite things is waiting to read the comments from shocked readers.
Next year I'd love to see those in the know resist the urge to point out the joke, and let the thread go a little longer with more incensed posts before we lift the curtain.

I wasn't thinking 24 hours...but not post #2, either. Something in between.
That was Drew Forrester and Terry Ford, wasn't it, claiming the Ravens had traded for Tim Couch?
All fun and games before the story was picked up by lazy national talking heads, and suddenly WNST had to pretend journalistic standards applied to them.
