If they somehow pull off a Clowney signing, this defense has a good chance of competing with 2006 for 2nd greatest Ravens D of all time. It MIGHT even have a shot at surpassing the 2000 defense, when adjusting for scoring per respective era.

Think about it. They already had the best secondary in the league last year. This year, they are healthier, have more experience playing together, and overall better. They also dramatically improved the DLine, and ILB spots. If they add a premier edge like Clowney, they will have impact talent at every position on the field. Plus, they will still have the best ball control offense in the league keeping them fresh, and allowing them to pin their ears back as the opponents play from behind.

This might even be more dream-worthy than signing a sane version of AB! (In some alternate reality where that exists.)
