5.56’s are slightly longer. So, if your rifle is designed for a 223, running 5.56’a through it isn’t a great idea. The opposite is true as well I would suspect, but I’m not an expert.

I have a 5.56 also but me and my guys run .223 at the range cause they’re slightly cheaper.

I just bought a “hot “ coyote load .223. 69 grain rounds. Vmax is the brand on the box from Cheaper than Dirt.

Just loaded up on some ammo from there too. I might start buying ammo as an investment and sell it during times like these!

Now that’s thinking outside the box.

Fed my chickens, bought a gun and drank beer. Feel like a prepper

You should look into learning reloading.

I really really want to. There's a few things I want to make sure are done right, like brakes and steering on a car, and ammo. But I guess if I've seen this done, do it and shoot the ammo, maybe I'll be more comfortable

Gotta be a brass Nazi at the range! Brass is expensive.
It is a fun hobby. Guy I work with does it. He makes some neat rounds.

What kind of gun did you buy?
