Except, ya know, the countless times that Trump has said something blatantly wrong in these press conferences, and then Dr. Fauci has had to correct him. It's pretty obvious the President isn't listening to Fauci.
Fauci is a professional, and isn't going to let a story about a rift with the administration stop his work. But you can see in his body language and words that having to constantly correct the President annoys him, and takes away from the job at hand.

Right, a man of science who only wants to stop the spread of this virus is totally fine with the President saying anyone can get a test when they can't. He's totally fine with the President telling people things should go back to normal by Easter when they absolutely won't. He's totally fine with the President recommending drugs that haven't been tested for this virus at all. Sure, maybe he likes Trump as a person, but there's no doubt his job would get a lot easier if Trump would just stop talking.
