At my college the multi cultural center was everyone that went to school for free because simply. Being non-white earned free tuition at the university of Maine in around 2000...

I'm fairly certain MLK didn't fight for "equality" so a black girl can stand up and complain about to many white people near her. EPIC FAIL on her part.

what if some of those white people are from South Africa? The fact that people were clapping and thinking she is doing something "brave" is scary.

college is a bad investment in 95% of all cases these days. Girls like this are merely devaluing the institutions they are paying to be a part of. Most companies are starting to lift the restriction of "Must have college degree" off of hiring and replacing it with "5-7 years experience" just to avoid college grad job seekers. It sucks that college has become so pointless.

BTW - does anyone see the irony in her doing this at UVA...an institution founded by Thomas Jefferson....a slave owner?
