That's Hill's CAREER stat line! Turns 30 in August.

It's crazy. What's also crazy is that Lamar led the league in QBR (whatever that is) with 81.1, and, somehow, Taysom Hill had a QBR better than Lamar's last year, 83.9. I'd expect that Taysom Hill would win most of his games as a starting QB, but most teams don't want running QBs, don't want to build a run first offense with running QBs, so most running QBs don't get the change to be a starting QB in the NFL.

Throwing when the other team is sure you're going to run it, and throwing to the Saints WRs? Not surprising at all. He could throw jump balls all day and have a top 10 rating with that crew catching it.

Nobody knows what QBR actually means.

It's not the same thing as passer rating. We understand what passer rating is, and Taysom Hill didn't have a particularly good passer rating. Lamar's was much better.

If you don't know what makes up the QBR, and if you can't even look at Taysom Hill's stats and know which of his stats were when he was a QB and when he lined up somewhere else, you can't really know why he had such a high QBR. We know that running is included in QBR, but we don't know which of Hill's runs were as a QB and which were not. 27 runs, 6 passes.

Looking at Hill's stats from last year, what jumps out at me is the fact that he caught 6 TD passes on 22 targets. I doubt that those catches go into his QBR.
