    yeah exactly. sometimes it seemed like half his body was out of bounds as he caught it. but around a decade or so they changed that rule. under the old rule, if an airborne player was forced OOB by a defender, but the ref determined that the player would've completed the pass with two feet inbounds had the defender not pushed him out, it was ruled a completion. now, no matter what the defender does, a player has to get both feet inbounds. doesnt totally remove that route's effectiveness, but it does weaken it quite a bit.

    but kudos to mason for perfecting that route to extend his career. i wish snead would develop a signature route, although id rather see him perfect the back shoulder fade like jordy nelson http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/sto...-shoulder-fade
